I went onto the Clear Image account tonight & saw a note dated 11/4/09 that an email was sent to me. The email was not received. However, I did want to give you an update.
I had worked late on the due date for returning the signed Loan Modification acceptance papers & missed sending the overnight to the bank. However, I called the bank, got a fax #, sent the papers via fax, then sent the originals via overnight the next day. The bank rep was very nice to me & really sounded sincere when she provided the info, noting our loan accounts, & reassuring me that the next day shipment should be acceptable. End result: our online access to the loan account info was reinstated & the loan modification was completed.
That next day, I had an opportunity to chat with a colleague & told her about our recent Loan Modification experience. She has been going through her own Loan Mod with little success & just received a foreclosure notice. I gave her the 877# to Clear Image & Corey Lassiter's name. He provided great service & really understood our situation, even though our hardship letter was the first 2-pager he'd seen since helping people with loan mods!
Last Saturday, I spoke with Corey & told him all about how at first we were disappointed with the loan mod's new payment. Then after thinking about the total result of the modification, we realized the bank's offer was a good deal overall. After talking with Corey, this really sank in further. We will be sure to refer our friends who might be in need of this service.
We saved almost $50,000 between the principle reduction AND almost $400 less to the monthly payment for both our 1st mortgage & Equity Line of Credit, combined! Although we would have liked to have had an even lower monthly payment, this is still a great deal. Now, we have applied for a replacement homeowners insurance policy for next year's renewal (offered at $3400 premium). That is going to be another big help on lowering the escrow portion of the monthly payment (new policy premium of $2600).
One of the best parts of using Clear Image's services was being able to stay relaxed when the bank collectors called. It was very scary at first but became more comfortable because we were able to explain that "Clear Image was negotiating the Loan Modification on our behalf & asked the bank collectors to contact Clear Image directly." Once the bank reps were informed of this, they were very nice to us on the phone.
Some of the nicest things about Clear Image are the very kind & understanding receptionist (Denise), the account service reps (Tasha Merkling & Mercedes Montoya), & the most helpful Client Login web site. This was so wonderful to have access - we were able to see the steps the service reps were taking & respond to them when emails may not have been received. Kudos to the person who had this online access idea!
We love our home & want to keep it. Thank you to Clear Image for helping us do just that!

Just a few months ago we were afraid of losing our home and having a very hard time making ends meet. Corey from your office called and offered help by lowering our interest rate on our mortgage. We had tried and failed so I was very skeptical about working with someone we didn't know. Corey didn't give up and a few weeks later we agreed. Just a few weeks later when the negotiator called and told us that our interest rate went from 8% to 0% it was like we had won the lottery! Neither of us could quit smiling. Life is just a whole lot better now, our bills are caught up again and we can't thank you enough for not giving up on us and for all your hard work!

I was afraid of losing my home, and Clear Image Financial Group, Inc. seemed too good to be true! They made my loan modification so easy, and they called me every week to keep me updated. I got a new payment I could afford, and they were so nice. I recommend Clear Image Financial Group, Inc. to anyone having mortgage difficulty.

We would like to bring to your attention the excellent service that we received from your company. Clear Image Financial Group did such a good job preparing three of our mortgages for loan modification. The agent was very responsible, fast, was able to answer all of our questions, and was willing to go the extra mile after hours on Friday night. He had great customer service skills and a lot of energy.

I had heard about loan modification companies in the news, but I had no idea the process. Clear Image explained the entire process to me so perfectly. It made so much sense! They helped me get a reduced interest rate, which lowered my monthly payment by over $700. This was the best money I’ve ever spent, and it helped me be able to save the home that my children were raised in.
